Love is the name of the game. It is the purpose behind creation, the goal of life and the greatest of all commandments.
In this episode we begin an extensive look at love in practice – love of God, self and other (indeed even of enemy) as displayed in the life of Jesus. Our guide for this exploration is the Apostle Luke – who’s gospel was written specifically for people like us – those who seek to love God, who were not present for the events of Jesus’s life, but who are nevertheless drawn to the Jesus Way and want to understand Jesus and his connection to the divine project of salvation.
Here we begin “in the beginning” – not with Luke per se but with love itself, the love of God, love at the foundation of the world.
