One of the hardest lessons of the life of faith is…faith – trusting that God will come through on his promises.

We can all point to events in our lives and the lives of others in which it seems God failed the elemental promise of providing for our physical needs. And yet, the Bible is constantly calling us to depend more deeply upon God and to let go of our impulses to stockpile resources for a rainy day. Here are some of our pal, Ian Farrell’s, thoughts on trust as he reflects on the story of Jesus “feeding the 5000.”
